The Vikings took on non-conference foe Bellevue and got their first win of the season, with a final of 18-8. The Vikings had a constant hitting attack all game with a total of eight extra base hits for the game. Sophomore Onika Meyers had two doubles, junior Kristin Terwilliger had two doubles and a triple, sophomore Meah Snider had a double , and junior Madison Wabindato had a double and triple. Other offensive notes, senior Val McMaster had three hits and three RBI along with 2 stolen bases; and getting their first varsity hits were junior Cloe Bowerman, sophomore Clare Wonch, and freshman Lindsey Olsen. Freshman Taylor Hacker pitched the first five innings to gain her first varsity victory. She had 5 strikeouts, 5 walks and gave up 4 earned runs. Next up for the lady Vikes is a non-conference battle with the Ramblers of Perry.
