The Ramblers of Perry took the first game of the double header by the score of 10-0. Perry pitcher A. Shnyler held the Vikings to just one hit and three walks for the game. Sophomore Meah Snider managed the only hit for the Potterville group. The Vikings played the Ramblers very tough through the first four innings until the error aided 5th and 6th innings, where Perry was able to put up 3 and 4 runs. Freshman Taylor Hacker pitched a complete game 8 hitter but was hurt by 11 base on balls and 5 errors by the defense. Coach Carlson had this to say about the game. “I was very proud of the fight the girls gave the much more experienced Perry team tonight. There are a few things that we need to work on cleaning up but the girls are moving in the right direction.” With the loss the Vikings drop to 1-4 on the year.
