In the night cap of the double header the Potterville fell to Perry by a score of 16-1. Potterville finished up with 6 hits but could not put them together at the right time. Perry had 7 hits but was aided by 8 Viking errors. Junior Madison Wabindato started the game and gave up only 3 earned runs, with a strikeout and 5 walks in taking the loss. Freshman Taylor Hacker came in in for relief and gave up 3 earned runs with a strikeout and 5 walks. The Vikings were lead at the plate by senior Bree Kubaczyk with two hits and fine job behind the plate. Coach Carlson’s post game interview was short and sweet. “We must cut down on the errors and give our pitchers the support they deserve. Only then will we become the team that they are capable of being.” The vikings fall to 1-5 on the young year.
