The Potterville Vikings got the 2018 season started with a non conference game at Webberville. The Vikings sent their freshmen pitcher Taylor Hacker to the mound, for her first varsity start. The Webberville gals with the help of a couple of errors put 7 runs on the board in the first inning. This was too much for the Potterville girls to overcome as they fell by a score of 13-2. Coach Carlson stated in his post game interview that there were some plays out there to be made and we didn’t make them. It was tough to keep the middle of their lineup off the bases, and in the end we could not overcome that. Potterville managed three hits, on each by sophomore Meah Snider, sophomore Onika Meyers and senior Bree Kubaczyk. Taylor Hacker took the loss for the Vikings.
